Beautiful! Vintage Turquoise and Sterling Silver Concho Belt
Description: Conchos and buckle are hand-stamped sterling silver with repousse’ work. Each concho is set with a single turquoise stone with varying blue to green color due to ageing. The buckle is also set with two turquoise stones one blueish and one greenish making it very eye catching. It is on a black leather belt. Tested as being sterling silver. Maker: Most likely Navajo made, but there is no maker’s hallmark (which is common of Native American jewelry made in the early 1970s or prior). Age: Circa 1930s – 40s vintage. Size: Conchos measure 1 3/4″ wide x 2 1/4″. Buckle is 2 1/8″ w x 2 5/8″ h. Belt is 32 3/8 long overall. Weight is 252.5 g. Condition: Good for its age. Normal wear and minor imperfections expected on used and vintage items. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description.
